When Airplane Mode is enabled, network-dependent update/telemetry actions are disabled.
Airplane Mode
Settings -> Data & Privacy -> Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode blocks external API calls.
Effects:
- cloud transcription providers are blocked
- cloud Spark providers are blocked
- local-network Spark backends (Ollama, LM Studio, Llama.cpp, local custom endpoints) remain allowed
Use Airplane Mode when you need strict no-cloud operation.
Transcript Cleanup
Automatically delete transcript history- retention window options:
- immediately
- 1 hour
- 1 day
- 3 days
- 7 days

Audio Cleanup
Enable automatic audio cleanup- retention presets:
- immediately
- 12 hours
- 24 hours

Privacy-first
- transcript deletion:
1 dayor shorter - audio cleanup:
24 hoursor shorter - Airplane Mode: on when possible
Productivity-first
- transcript deletion:
3-7 days - audio cleanup:
5-30 days - Airplane Mode: off when cloud providers are required
