Hot Corners
Use screen corners as fast, mouse-driven triggers for recording and mode selection.
Settings -> Hot Corners (Expert Mode)
Hot Corners are useful when your hand is already on the mouse and you want zero keyboard travel.
Enable Hot Corners
Turn on Enable Hot Corners to activate corner actions.
Per-Corner Actions
Each corner (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right) can be set to:
No ActionToggle RecordingShow Modes Hub
Activation Delay
Set Activation Delay in milliseconds.
Higher values reduce accidental triggers when you pass over corners.
Practical Setup Pattern
- assign one corner to
Toggle Recording - assign another corner to
Show Modes Hub - leave the other two corners as
No Action
This keeps the behavior memorable and avoids accidental activation.
If You Trigger Corners by Accident
- increase
Activation Delay - move active corners away from your usual pointer parking corners
- reduce to one active corner until muscle memory stabilizes
