Capture & Input

Popup, Clipboard, and Media

Make output handling feel clean with the right popup timing, clipboard policy, and media behavior.

These settings define what happens right after transcription, which is where workflow friction usually shows up.

  • Duration: 0 to 60 seconds (0 keeps popup open)
  • Font Size: 12 to 30 pt

Use longer duration while tuning prompts and shorter duration once your flow is stable.

Recording Feedback

Settings -> Recording Feedback

  • Sound feedback: enable/disable start/stop cue sounds

Enable sound feedback if you often trigger recording without looking at screen state.

Clipboard

Settings -> Clipboard

  • Preserve transcript in clipboard: keep transcript instead of restoring previous clipboard contents
  • Clear clipboard after (Expert Mode): Immediately, 3s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1m

Media Playback (Expert Mode)

Settings -> Media Playback

  • Mute system audio during recording
  • Pause media during recording
  • Resume media after Always Listen (available when pause media is enabled)

Focused writing profile

  • short popup duration
  • preserve clipboard on
  • sound feedback off

Meeting-heavy profile

  • longer popup duration
  • pause media on
  • resume after Always Listen on

Privacy-first profile

  • clipboard clear delay enabled
  • avoid long-lived popup visibility

Media Playback (Expert Mode)

These controls prevent media interference while dictating and help you resume context automatically.

Note

[Screencast Placeholder] Show one end-to-end recording where media is paused, transcript popup appears, and clipboard auto-clear happens after a chosen delay.
