Meeting Capture

Meeting Capture is designed for live calls where you want a clean recording and transcript afterward.

Capture Modes

• System Audio Only: capture participants/app output
• Microphone Only: capture your voice only
• Meeting Mode: capture and mix system + microphone

Which Mode to Pick

• use System Audio Only for webinars/interviews where your mic is not needed
• use Microphone Only for solo spoken notes
• use Meeting Mode for two-way conversations

Volume Controls

In Meeting Mode, set:

• system audio input volume
• microphone input volume

Values are persisted and reused.

Recording Controls

• Start Recording
• Pause / Resume
• Stop

Live Metrics

Meeting Capture shows:

• recording duration
• output file size
• current and peak levels for system/mic
• processing stats

Use the meters during setup. If peaks are constantly clipping, reduce input volume before continuing.

After Recording

Actions:

• Open in Transcribe File
• Show in Finder

Permissions

Depending on capture mode, Voiscribd may need:

• Microphone permission
• Screen Recording permission (for system audio path)

Stability Checklist

Before important meetings:

1. run a 15-second test recording
2. confirm both system and mic levels move in expected channels
3. verify save location and file growth
4. transcribe the sample to confirm model behavior
